Is France really generous in terms of paid leave? This is the question dealt with in the study by Asinta, Gerep’s international network, after a survey of members to find out the different policies in their countries regarding paid leave from work
In the study, “paid leave” means a period during which an employee is paid while absent from work for whatever reason (holiday, sick leave, special leave.). The study demonstrates that the remuneration levels that employees can expect vary considerably from one continent and one country to another.
